SYNOPSIS INFORMATION: NOUN: Circuit Card Assembly NSN: 5998-01-271-6566DQ P/N: 10095733-101 QTY: 6 each MISSION IMPACT: URGENT and a HIGH PRIORITY EXISTS. This requirement is initiated to obtain a Firm Fixed Price contract for the repair of 6 each circuit card assemblies. Applicable to the USM-603. The Government s required delivery schedule is 30 days after receipt of order and reparables. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. The item is sole source to HONEYWELL, INC. SEMSOR AND GUIDANCE PRODUCTS, Cage Code 94580. The approximate solicitation issue date is 27 NOVEMBER 2000. 1. This solicitation is for an URGENT requirement. 2. There is No Data available as stated in the Commerce Business Daily. 3. The acquisition is Sole Source and the source s cage code is 94580. 4. A Source Approval Request package must be completed and returned with the quote for FUTURE acquisitions only. The Source Approval Request package shows the evidence of capability of a contractor and the Government s engineers approval time of that package takes from 45-90 days. AFMC FARS 5309.205(90) Any contractor bidding on this RFQ (Request For Quote) must be an approved source. To become an approved source, for future acquisitions contact the Small Business Office at Kelly AFB, TX at (210) 925-6918 and request a Source Approval Package be sent to your company. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
