Description

The work includes replacement of approximately 632 linear feet of existing steel sheet pile bulkhead, including granular fill, concrete cap, tiebacks, protective coating, and cathodic protection system; demolition of existing earth-filled, sheet pile finger piers (2) with incidental dredging; replacement of existing finger piers (2 each, 16'-0" Wide by 70'-0" long); replacement of fender system; reuse and installation of cleats; replacement of concrete loading ramp including riprap scour protection; replacement of concrete pavement behind bulkhead; soil sampling and disposal of petroleum contaminated soils; storm drainage improvements with associated grading; upgrading existing water and electrical service to bulkhead and piers; selective demolition of existing bulkhead and fender system; miscellaneous metal fabrications; and incidental related work. The work shall be performed in two phases. Work in phase 1 shall be complete and ready for use by the Government prior to commencing work in phase 2 unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer. Estimated Cost Range: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. There is a $50.00 non-refundable charge per set for plans and specifications.
