Description

SOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, equipment and work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings for the upgrade and improvement of USAF housing utilities located on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Work consists of, but is not limited to: replacing existing older, overhead power systems for military family housing along Arctic Warrior Drive with modern buried power, communications and telephone lines. Magnitude of construction is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Performance period is 155 days from the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation package will be available on or about 21 Nov 00, with a closing date of 21 Dec 00. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The package, with the specifications and drawings, will be available only through the Electronic Posting System (EPS). Offerors who want to be on the Bidder's Mailing List should fax their request and include their name, mailing address, phone number, fax number and size of business. This project is open to both large and small businesses and is under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program.
