Description

This work covers inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and upgrading of the "Fire-Lite" fire protection alarm systems and individual building smoke detectors at Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. It includes repair service and periodically recurrent inspection and tests required to keep the fire protection alarm systems and its components in an operative condition at all times, together with replacement of the system or its components when they become undependable or inoperative. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and perform all operations in conjunction with inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the Air Station's fire protection alarm system and related equipment to ensure that the system at all times complies with the most recent provisions of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 72, and all related NFPA codes.
