Description

DESC: 1005-01-408-3585, Part Number 12976819. The item to be procured is a Carrying Handle Assembly, Barrel used on Machine Gun 7.62mm. Assembly consists of machined metal parts and investment casting with a machined plastic part. Special material requirements called out for ROD material. Requirements are 4,750 each, Carrying Handle Assembly. FOB is Destination. For use on the M240 Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is 24 November 2000. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Offerors are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all offerors are required to execute a nondisclosure agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the nondisclosure agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation posted on the web. The nondisclosure agreement must be signed by an official authorized to legally bind the company. Upon execution of the nondisclosure agreement, return by mail to TACOM-Rock Island, ATTN: AMSTA-LC-CSC-A/Kathy Conklin, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630, or datafax to (309) 782-3813, ATTN: Kathy Conklin.
