Description
This is a combined synopsis/quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotation (RFQ); quotations are being required and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-20 and DFARS 20001025. This requirement is unrestricted. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Computerized Security Systems for the following items. Contract line item number, (CLIN) 0001 SAFLOK dual technology locks, product code MT, with magnetic stripe option, troy lever/lever design, satin stainless finish, 270RH/270LH, exterior door application. Qty: 540 each. CLIN 0002 SAFLOK SL2500 classic, product code- SL2500, with magnetic strike option, satin brass (US 04) finish, troy lever/lever design, exterior door application. CLIN 0003 -- Freight charges from company. The FSC Code is 6350. The NAICS Code is 421710 and the small business size standard for this procurement is 100 employees. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database to be eligible for Department of Defense contract awards. Shipping is via Government Bill of Lading to the following address: Defense Distribution Region West, DDJC Sharpe Site, CCP Bldg. B1, French Camp, CA 95231. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, called Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/NAIS/nasa_ref.cgi to submit a quotation. All clauses may be obtained via the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Along with the submission of the quotation, quoters shall complete and return the following information required by FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items and provide their CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and e-mail address. Review of Agency Protest (FISCPH) (NOV 2000) states: (a) the contracting activity, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC); Pearl Harbor, will process agency protests in accordance with the requirements set forth in FAR 33.103(d); (b) Pursuant to FAR 44.103(d)(4), agency protests may be filed directly with the appropriate Reviewing Authority or a protester may appeal a decision rendered by a Contracting Officer to the Reviewing Authority; (c) The Reviewing Authority for FISCPH is the Deputy Director, Regional Contracting Department (Code 200A), Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, 1942 Gaffney Street, Suite 100, Pearl Harbor, HI 96860-4549; agency procurement protests should clearly identify the initial adjudicating official, i.e. the "Contracting Officer" or "Reviewing Official", and (d) Offerors should note this review of the Contracting Officer's decision will not extend GAO's timeliness requirements. Therefore, any subsequent protest to GAO must be filed within 10 days of knowledge of initial adverse agency action. Quotations must be received no later than 2:30 H.S.T, 17 November 2000.
