Description

The USDA Agricultural Research Service intends to negotiate and award an Architect-Engineering Service (A-E) contract for it's facilities located in Clay Center, NE/Lincoln, NE. The A-E contract may be for one year with four one-year options. It will be an indefinite quantity/ indefinite delivery contract for A-E services such as, but not limited to, surveys, studies, preparation of design specifications, drawings, and cost estimates for laboratory renovations, office renovations, landscape, new building and parking lot construction, etc. Evaluation of firms will be made on the following criteria, in descending order of importance: A. Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services; B. Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; C. Past performance on contracts with Govenrment agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, accuracy of cost estimates, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; D. Location in the general geographic area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; E. CADD capability. This is a 100 percent set-aside for small business (less than $4 Million/Year). Firms meeting this requirement are invited to submit SF-254's and SF-255's under the solicitation number A/E-COWY-82HW-01 to USDA-ARS-NPA (Contracting), 1201 Oakridge Drive, Suite 150, Fort Collins, CO 80525-5562 by Close of Business on December 8, 2000. Any SF-254 and SF-255 forms received after this time set for receipt will be handled in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), paragraph 15.208. This is not a Request for Proposal.
