Description

This requirement is for a test well boring to a depth of 1,650 feet at a site 2 miles southwest of Leonardtown, Maryland, on property owned by the St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission. Depending on the results of the test boring, the well will be cased and screened at designated intervals in either the upper Patapsco aquifer (675 feet to 875 feet) or the lower Patapsco aquifer (1,220 to 1,550 feet). Cuttings, geophysical logs, water samples and pumping tests will be performed as specified. The period of performance is 45 days. A date for a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. Solicitation No. 01ERSS0001 will be available on or about November 27, 2000. Requests for Solicitation No. 01ERSS0001 shall be in writing (telephone requests will not be honored). Requests may be faxed to (703) 648-7901 (telephone confirmation is recommended). The price range of the requirement is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000.
