Description

This project will replace the existing HVAC distribution system throughout Building 22, Research. The building recently had the main air handler replaced and central chilled water run to the system. Primary heat is through the central steam distribution system. This construction project will address the ducted air distribution system and controls. Project will address the existing mixing boxes, add VAV boxes at various locations, replace portions of the ducted distribution system, and install new controls throughout the facility. As the facility currently is 100% fresh air and 100% exhaust, energy efficiency is low. This project will make corrections to that system and increase overall facility energy efficiency. All work is located at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. The Government estimate is $250,000 to $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23511 Plumbing, heating and Air-Conditioning applies to this procurement.
