Description

The US Postal Service is soliciting for proposals for the Replacement of the HVAC system at the Eugene, OR Main Post Office located at 520 Willamette St., Eugene OR. In brief, the project involves: Demolition of the existing HVAC system and replacement of the HVAC system, and all incidental work as defined in the plans and specifications. Performance time of contract is 240 days. Estimated cost: $1,250,000 to $1,500,000. Due to the complexity of the project General Contractors and prime subcontractors must attend one of the two mandatory project walk-throughs which are scheduled for November 16th or 28th, 2000 10:00 AM at the above address. Offer due date is December 29, 2000. Solicitation packages may be obtained from Royal Reprographics, 7825 S. 180th St., Kent WA 98032. Plans and specifications are available at a cost of $135.00 PER SET (NON-REFUNDABLE). Mail or drop off check or money order payable to: Royal Reprographics and reference the above solicitation number. Royal will also accept Visa or MasterCard. Since this is a request for proposal, offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any one offer, or relative standing of the offeror will not be disclosed to anyone until after the award of contract is made and the request is submitted in writing. Offerors are encouraged to submit their proposal by the methods offered by the US Postal Service (First Class, Priority Mail, or Express Mail).
