NSN: 4240-01-049-0978 Breathing Tube, Oxygen Breathing Apparatus (OBA-4) (Mine Safety Appliance Company P/N: 79408). NOTE: THIS ITEM IS ACQUIRED UNDER MINE SAFETY APPLIANCE COMPANY PART NUMBER ONLY AND IS TO BE MANUFACTURED ONLY BY THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER (MINE SAFETY APPLIANCE COMPANY). THE MINE SAFETY PART NUMBER IS THE ONLY ITEM WHICH WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. Authorized dealers / distributors of the Mine Safety product may submit offers which DSCP will considered for award. This acquisition is 100% UNRESTRICTED. Quantity is 5,400 EA to be delivered FOB Destination to DDSP New Cumberland, PA in two (2) increments of 2,700 EA beginning 180 days (6 months) after award. This acquisition WILL NOT contain option provisions. Since this item is commercial in nature, the procedures in FAR Part 12 will be utilized. Copies of this solicitation will be made available on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home or http;//12.3.216.20/home at time of solicitation issuance on or about December 1, 2000. from the Gateway home page, select "Search RFP's" from the right hand side bar.
