Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at New Orleans, LA is contemplating award on a sole source basis to Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc for the procurement of one (1) Neoprobe 2000 Gamma Detection System, AC powered, PC based, upgradable to perform new procedures as medical advances in gamma technolgy occurs. This Gamma Detection System offers the ability to perform all currently performed lymphatic mapping as well as parathyroid procedures with the use of one probe. This award will be made on a sole source basis to Ethicon Endo-Surgery because this company possesses the knowledge and expertise and have demonstrated performance required to support related activities.
