This is a Total Small Business Set Aside. NAICS Classification 42142, This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00014-01- R-0001 is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The Office of Naval Research intends to purchase 450 scientific graphing calculators. Sharp Model Number EL-9600 or equal. Required calculator features include: (1) user friendly operation; (2) extra large pen touch LCD; (3) bi- directional graph; (4) slide show function; (5) rapid graph; (6) rapid window; (7) rapid zoom; (8) equation editor; (9) 8 line by 22 character display; (10) split screen; (11) graphing rectangular, parametric and polar coordinates; (12) simultaneously graph, analyze and trace up to 10 equations; (13) one and two variable statistics including advanced statistics package; (14) statistical graphs to include: histogram, broken line, cumulative frequency, normal distribution, scatter diagram, regression line and box chart; (15) probability distribution; (16) financial functions; (17) OHP panel; (18) PC link software; (19) real world data collection capabilities.
