Background "We are having difficulties uploading the list of required subscription titles (Attachment J). If you want to receive a copy of this list, please call Bruce Johnson at 937-257-8344/Ext 4493. If Mr. Johnson is not in, leave your mailing address on the voice mail(or your phone number), and the list will be mailed to you. Please make your wishes known no later than 10:00 PM EST, 9 Nov 2000. Attachment J (the list of subscription titles) has just been uploaded to PIXS. Please look for it, under the title""0008subs"". Solicitation F33600-01-R-0008 has been posted to the Web as of 6 Nov 2000. Proposal due date is 7 Dec 2000 @ 3:00 PM EST ( Faxed proposals are not acceptable ). This is a commercial solicitation for renewal of subscription services for the AFIT Library at Wright- Patterson AFB, OH. The subscriptions are for scientific and technical publications, both domestic and foreign. There are approximately 555 titles. Copies shall be paper, unless specified otherwise. Subscription service will begin 01 January 2001, and continue for a fullyear. The contractor must provide Internet access to their database. Award will be ALL OR NONE (no split awards). Ombudsman Stephen J.Plaisted will hear concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations, and will convey them to the appropriate representative. The Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of the solicitation or the evaluation of proposals; for routine matters on individual solicitations, contact Bruce Johnson at 937-257-8344/Ext 4493, or at ASC/PKWRM, 1940 Allbrook Drive, Suite 3, W-PAFB OH 45433.
