Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, under the Simplified = Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13,intends to issue a sole source purchase order = to the AGSIM Associates, 1515 Deer Tract Road, Opelika, AL, for "Agricultural Simulation Model Enhancement Work?. The first objective of this = project is to update the AGSIM model?s parameters and extend the model to include = fruits and vegetables to improve its capability in estimating regional impacts on = farmers and consumers, crop production, export, and costs of farm program = associated with existing/proposed EPA?s regulations and policies. The second = objective is to make the new updated/extended version of AGSIM model available to = the U.S. EPA and supply training as necessary to run the model. The SIC Code is = 8999. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. All = interested parties must respond within 15 calendar days of the date of this = announcement. Interested vendors shall provide detailed information outlining their capabilities which clearly meet the requirements stated above. Any = response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data but instead choosing to = submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored.
