Description

To meet this requirement, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), as the operator of a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) for the National Cancer Institute (NCI), wishes to contract for all services necessary to operate biospecimen and, potentially, chemical repositories for the National Cancer Institute at Frederick, MD. The contract period will be for a total of five years and will contain both base and optional Contract Line Items (CLINs). The anticipated start date is 1 October 2001 with a 30-day transition period beginning on 1 September 2001. The applicable NICS Code is 493120 and the size standard is $18.5M. This requirement is not set aside for small business. It is expected that only one award will be made. There will be a pre-solicitation conference held at the Building 549 auditorium at the NCI Campus in Frederick, MD at 12:30 PM (EST) on Tuesday, November 21, 2000, followed by a tour of the facilities at approximately 4:00 PM. The Draft RFP will be available in the near future, those parties interested in receiving the Draft RFP should contact Ms. Eash.
