Description

This solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 and the format in FAR Subpart 12.303, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the official notification for which quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation document Request for Quotes (RFQ) 187-002-1 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 97-20. This procurement is being advertised as a fully competed procurement, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621399 with a size standard of $5.0 million. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Phoenix, AZ intends to award a contract for Allied Health Technology services to the contractor who submits the best value offer (a) within the City of Phoenix, County of Maricopa. The services required include but are not limited to taking vital signs, performing EKGs, stocking medical supplies, medical records filing, chaperoning medical providers, autoclaving surgical instruments, assisting in minor medical and surgical procures, and performing phlebotomy when necessary. Services will be required from date of award through 30 September 2001 with four twelve-month option periods, for an estimated two hundred eight (208) 7.5-hour sessions required during a twelve-month period. Anticipated due date for offers is 13 December 2000.
