Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is USZA95-01-T-0006, and is issued as a Request For Quotation. The due date is November 15, 2000 NLT 2:00PM est. The Government intends to award this acquisition sole source to Abaris Training Resources, Inc. Abaris has provided the required composite maintenance courses in the past, and Abaris owns all proprietary rights to the specific data from which they teach. The list of training and corresponding dates can be downloaded from the Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Contractors must register in IBOP in order to be able to submit a quote. Once registered, there is no requirement to register again. Quotations for this solicitation will be accepted via IBOP or by e-mail. The solicitation document, provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (to be completed and submitted with offer); 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items; and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items.
