Description

Sources sought for exterior canopy construction. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, tools, transportation, and supervision to install two canopy type entrance covers. Canopies shall be of sufficient slope and strength to provide added protection for individuals entering and leaving the bldgs from rain and snow. Buildings shall provide a flashing and sealing system between existing structures and canopies to prevent leakage in the entrance areas. Structures shall have open sides, with trim and fascia coated to provide a finshed look to compliment existing structures. Building 1571 Canopy: Approx. 18 feet wide and 15 feet long consisting of metal frame construction and sloping metal roof covering to match existing metal roof of building 1571. Roof structure shall be designed to withstand the snow load of sliding ice and snow from existing metal roof. Building 8061 Canopy: Approx. 10 feet wide and 14 feet long consisting of wood-frame construction, standard grade or better, and gabled shingle roof to match existing shingle roof of building 8061. Roof shall be tied into existing roof pitch and designed for 40 pounds per square foot load. The underside of the roof and eaves shall be enclosed with a pre-finished vented metal surface to match existing building. All wood members in contact with soil and/or concrete or exposed to the elements shall be pressure treated to meet Industry Standards. Davis Bacon Wage Rates apply. Interested parties call Jill M.
