Description

Replace/Modernize Elevators -- Provide all labor, material, and equipment to completely renovate five elevators in building 1. Work will be accomplished in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes two 4-step traction elevators, one 2-stop traction elevator, one 2-stop hydraulic elevator, and one 4-stop hydraulic elevator. Solicitation packages will be available approximately November 20, 2000 -- all solicitation packages request must be in writing and accompanied by a company check (no personal checks) in the amount of $35.00 per package and made payable to Department of Veterans Affairs. A limited number of packages are available and will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicable SIC code is 1796/NAICS code 23595 and project estimate is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Site inspection is scheduled for December 7, 2000 at 10:00 a.m.. Bids are due December 19, 2000 at 2:00 p.m..
