Description

Principal compoents of the work to be performed include: (a) Delivery of all construction materials and equipment across the frozen water surface of Lake Audubon to the construction sites on islands 81, 100, 101, 113, 131, 135, 136, 146, 166, 192, 188, 197, and 201; (b) construction of approx. 75 linear feet of riprap windrow on island 81; (c) construction of approx. 75 linear feet of riprap windrow on island 100; (d) construction of approx. 75 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment on island 101; (e) construction of approx. 50 linear feet of riprap windrow on island 113; (f) construction of approx. 400 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment, 20 linear feet of riprap windrow, and filling 9 breakwater gaps with riprap on island 131; (g) construction of approx. 400 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment at the toe of an existing concrete bulkhead, approx. 250 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment above the concrete bulkhead, and filling 64 empty or partially empty bulkhead pipes with 6-inch to 12-inch rock on island 135; (h) construction of approx. 135 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment, 270 linear feet of dumped riprap in front of 5 concrete breakwater units, and filling of 12 partially empty concrete breakwater units with 6-inch to 12-inch rock on island 136; (i) construction of approx. 750 linear feet of riprap windrow at two sites and 340 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment at one site on island 146; (j)construction of approx. 75 linear feet of riprap windrow on island 166; (k) construction of approx. 150 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment at three gabion groin locations on island 188; (l) construction of approx. 225 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment on island 192; (m) construction of approx. 25 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment on island 197; and (n) construction of approx. 50 linear feet of dumped riprap revetment on island 201. Work to be completed by March 15, 2001. Road maintenance, if required, shall be completed by June 1, 2001. Competition is unrestricted as per the designated industry group (SIC 1629) under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Request copy of RFQ from contact point identified above.
