Description

This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. No solicitation document is available. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located in Glynn County, Georgia, is looking for a recycler/disposer for bullets fragments from weapons firing ranges. The FLETC has 21 ranges, and 13-14 million rounds are fired each year. The FLETC trains with a mixture of new non-lead ammunitions, consisting of tin, steel, zinc and copper. The ammo fragments are collected in drums, which may contain dust of the same metal mixtures and even small amounts of unfired gunpowder.
