Description

BQM-74E Follow-On. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation, 17600 Goldentop Road, San Diego, CA 95120-9066 for the procurement of the BQM-74E targets and mission essential installation kits. The resulting contract will include a basic requirement for 72 units and three options for a total of 258 additional units. This is a follow-on procurement of the BMQ-74E and it will be executed on a sole source basis since it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of costs to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. These duplicative costs are associated with the logistics infrastructure to support a target other than the BQM-74E.
