- Description
- Rapidly Emplaced Bridge System (REBS), Five Year Multi Year Solicitation, Estimated Quantity of 20 REBS Systems with options for up to 32 each. The REBS system is a tactical bridge, capable of crossing a minimum 13- meter unprepared bank gap while maintaining a minimum Military Load Classification (MLC) 30 for wheeled and tracked vehicles. The system is envisioned to be of modular design, rapidly launched and retrieved by a crew size of two in 10 minutes or less and mounted onto a trailer or Common Bridge Transporter. The REBS must be air transportable in a C-130 aircraft, capable of employment with minimal reconfiguration time upon arrival in the area of operation, and air deliverable by a CH-47 helicopter.
