Description

The Solicitation is amended to extend the closing date from 11/03/00 to 11/17/00. DESCRIPTION of services: Non-personal services to remove and dispose of ashes and debris from a Zinc Model A-24G gas fired incinerator located in building 320 on Robins AFB GA. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contractor will provide labor, milage, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to perform removal and disposal of ashes and debris from Zinc A-24G gas fired incinerator. Work shall be accomplished between the hours of 0730 to 1530, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. (a) Contractor shall remove and dispose of ash and debris inside the incinerator one (1) time a month. (b) contractor shallclean incinerator within 24 hours notice. (c) Contractor will have examined the installation site to determine the conditions under which work is to be performed. Point of Contact is Carolyn White at 926-2874 or Diane Carmichael at 926-2875 ONLY between the hours of 0830 and 1400, Monday through Friday. (d) It is the joint responsibility of the equipment custodian and the contractor to provide verification that services were rendered. CBD Note 1 and Local WRALC Note "B" Ombudsman apply. This solicitation is for one Basic year and 4 one year option years. Please submit your quote to reflect this.
