Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5406, has a requirement to engineer, provide, install and maintain a full-time, full-duplex, dedicated telecommunications service between Minot AFB, ND and each of its fifteen (15) associated Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs). The required service shall interface with, extend, terminate and hand back to the Government: twelve (12), two-wire, loop start, toll quality lines; one 10 base T connection supporting a data rate of 1 Mbps and one 56 kbps serial data port from Minot AFB, ND to each MAF. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for this requirement. The Government will request proposals for an annual year(1 year base & 9 one-year options) pricing scenario. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. The RFP will be posted on the DITCO Home Page on or about 5 Dec 00 on the World Wide Web at http://www.ditco.disa.mil/asp/news.asp under Contracting Opportunities. We will not issue or mail paper copies of the RFP, amendments or other information related to the requirement. It is your responsibility to check the web site for release of the RFP, any amendments that may be issued and download documents upon their release.
