Description

The government intends to establish a fixed quantity repair contract for the F-16 Power Supply. Work shall be accomplished IAW Appendices A and C. Item 0001, Low Volt Power Supply, NSN 6130-99-741-9556, P/N 7506-00098, 15 ea. Delivery 30 days after receipt of contract The contractor shall provide all labor, parts/material and equipment to accomplish this effort. Note A: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The approximate issue/response date will be 29 NOV 2000. The anticipated award date will be 20 Dec 2000. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. See our Web page. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
