Description

17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Services prepared IAW the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number M68909-01-R-1018 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to acquire on a firm fixed-price basis, the following services: The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, equipment and tools for the repair of the Government owned various air conditioners and chillers located at Marine Corps Tactical System Support Activity (MCTSSA), Camp Pendleton, California. The Contractor shall provide a firm fixed hourly rate, no travel time shall be added to the hourly rate. The fixed hourly rate shall start from the time the Contractor has signed in on the Point of Contact's start log sheet that is located at MCTSSA. The scheduled repairs shall be performed no later than 24 hours after notification. All parts and materials shall be reimbursed on an actual cost basis. The price to be paid for such parts shall be based on an established catalog or list price in effect when parts are furnished, less a 50% discount provided to the Government; and in no event shall the price exceed the contractor's sale price to its most-favored customer for the same item in like quantity or the current market price, whichever is lower. Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration to be eligible. Period of performance is from date of award to 30SEP01, and two additional one (1) year options. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage and warranties of any standard commercial practice normally offered to the commercial public.
