Description

This solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 and the format in FAR Subpart 12.303, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the official notification for which quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation document Request for Quote (RFQ) 187-003-1 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 97-20. This procurement is being advertised as a fully competed procurement, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621399 with a size standard of $5.0 million. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Phoenix, AZ intends to award a contract for Radiologic Testing to the contractor who submits the best value offer (a) within the City of Phoenix, County of Maricopa. The services required include but are not limited to performing EKGs and fluoroscopic as well as regular diagnostic radiography. Services will be required from date of award through 30 September 2001 with four twelve-month option periods, with an estimated one hundred four (104) eight-hour sessions required during a twelve-month period. Anticipated due date for offers is 14 December 2000.
