Description

The Program Support Center on behalf of the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ) plan to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to The University of Maryland, Department of Oral Health Care Delivery, 666 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. The basis for the requirement is: The contractor shall provide technical assistance and support to the Center for Cost and Financing Studies (CCFS) Agency for Health Care Research and Quality staff regarding the collection of data on dental care use, expenditures, and insurance coverage in the ongoing Medical Expenditure Panel Surveys (MEPS). In addition, the contractor shall advise CCFS staff on editing/imputation of MEPS dental service event data; and conduct dental service analyses and prepare scholarly manuscripts for submission for publication in peer reviewed journals. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. It is anticipated that award of this requirement shall be on or about December 6, 2000.
