Description

The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, labor, supervision, transportation and appliances necessary to remove and install Government furnished carpet and carpet tiles. All work will be performed in building 6000, Bolling AFB, DC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 23552 and the SIC Code is 7623 with the standard size being $7.0 million. Performance period is 01 Mar 2001 through 30 Sep 2001, with four (4) one-year options. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors_ past and present performance history is significantly more important than price, however, price will contribute substantially to the selection decision. This procurement is 100% set-aside for HubZone Small Business. This solicitation will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 15 Nov 2000: http://www.eps.gov. Closing date of this solicitation will be 30 calendar days after the issue date. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
