Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) released Sections of Draft RFP N00019-01-R-0037 for Industry Comment on October 31, 2000. Updated versions of the documents should be posted at the NAVAIR website,http://www.navair.navy.mil/business/business.cfm on or about November 13, 2000. Interested offerors are encouraged to notify the Contract Specialist, Monica White, via email at whiteml2@navair.navy.mil. The following information is required upon offerors e-mail notification: Organization name and address, primary POC, phone/fax and e-mail of the primary POC. All Industry Comments are required no later than November 16, 2000. The Government is particularly interested in industry feedback on the Performance Incentive and also requesting input as to the commerciality of the required services in order to determine if these services meet the requirements for a FAR Part 12. The formal solicitation will be electronically released approximately December 15, 2000 on the NAVAIR website. No hard copies of the solicitation or amendments will be provided. All correspondence will be via e-mail to the Contract Specialist. Unless requested, no presolicitation or preproposal conference is planned at this time.
