Description

N68711-01-B-2103, INDEFINITE QUANTITY INTERIOR PAINTING OF HOUSING UNITS, at the MARINE CORPS BASE, CAMP PENDLETON, CA and NAVAL WEAPONS STATION SEAL BEACH, DETACHMENT FALLBROOK, FALLBROOK, CA. -- This is an Indefinite-Quantity (IQ) contract, with work to be ordered under Indefinite Quantity Task Orders. -- All work under this contract is subject to Davis-Bacon Act and applicable wage determination. The work includes surface preparation, priming and interior painting of walls, floors, ceilings, doors, stairs, cabinets, shelving and other miscellaneous items as directed in certain rooms and areas of various family quarters. Also included is surface preparation, priming and complete painting (all sides) of exterior doors and trim. Surfaces to be painted include both new and previously painted surfaces and incidental related work. The contract term will be for a base period of one (1) year, with four (4) additional one (1) year option periods. Estimated cost between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. -- NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. New contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. Contractors may obtain information on registration via the internet at: www.ccr2000.com, or by calling 1-888-227-2423. -- The solicitation will be available on or about 28 November 2000. -- There will be only one site visit scheduled for this project. The site visit will be held at 9:00 a.m., local time, on 12 December 2000. -- This procurement is issued as Unrestricted. Large Business-Concerns will be required to submit a sub-contracting plan. -- NAICS Code 23521 Painting and Wall Covering Contractors, Size standard: $11.5 million. -- The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. The solicitation WILL NOT be directly provided in a hard copy or CD ROM format. -- Notification of any changes (amendments) to the solicitation shall be made only on the Internet.
