Description

Requirements type contract to provide concrete placement and new asphalt pavement overlays, asphalt surface treatments and pavement markings in Family Housing and Post areas at Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 15 January 2001 through 14 January 2002 with one one-year option period. Work includes, but is not limited to, base course restoration, crack repair, asphalt overlay, complete restoration, rubberized coal tar, thermoplastic coal tar emulsion slurry, excavation, repair and/or construction of streets, range roads, airfield surfaces, parking lots, etc., crack repair, concrete curb and gutter, concrete porches, steps, patios, and sidewalks, and concrete footings. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Bid packages will be available on or about 28 November 2000 with an estimated bid opening date of 4 January 2001. A limited number of bid packages will be available and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis. Contractors will be limited to one copy of the bid package. Requests for bid packages must be submitted in writing and may be faxed to 502-624-7165 or 502-624-5869. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Bid packages will not be faxed.
