Description

Reference to Far 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purpose. Thermal Imaging And Laser Test System is to perform depot level testing on man portable laser and night vision sights, vehicle mounted type thermal imagers, laser ranging, and designating devices. System testing to be opertor subjective with motorized test target pattern and source temperature selected by a controller. System will be to test the following items: M1A1 Tank Thermal Receiver Unit, M1A1 Tank Laser Rangefinder, DIM 36 Lav Thermal Receiver Unit, PVS-6 Melios Laser Rangefinder, GVS-5 Laser Rangerfinder. System is intended to be used indoors in environmentally controlled test areas. System to be supplied with all necessary components; no other items shall be required to perform night vision sight and laser testing other than the unit under test itself and its mounting fixture, and a stable work table of suitable dimensions.
