Background "T-38 PROPULSION MODERNIZATION PROGRAM (PMP) PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS Point of Contact Contract Negotiator Capt Chris Parsons (937) 904-4162; Contracting Officer Ms. Saundra Wieser, (937) 904-4304 The Government has a requirement and intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire approximately 509 T-38C inlet, bulkhead, and former kits as part of the T- 38C Propulsion Modernization Program (PMP) for the Flight Training SPO, ASC/YTA, WPAFB, OH. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will be performed using commercial, FAR Part 12 Procedures. Kit installation will not be performed under this proposed contract action. Response date for offerors' Past Performance information is tentatively established as 11 Dec 00. Response date for remaining proposal information is tentatively established as 4 Jan 01. Actual response dates will depend upon actual RFP release date, which is scheduled for mid-Nov 2000. If you are not satisfied after contacting the POCs, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels.
