Description

This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for Industrial Pumps, and Parts & Attachments for pumps (27 NSNs) for various items managed by DSCC. The approved sources are ITT JABSCO (31425); Facet International (87405); Detroit Diesel (72582); Lockheed Martin (24900); and Johnson Sweeper (81795). The intent of is to award all of the items included in the solicitation. A preference for issuing multiple awards applies. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Note 26 applies. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 04 Dec 00. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 4320. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
