Description

The National Institute on Aging, IRP, Gerontology Research Center, NIA, 5600 Nathan Shock Drive, Baltimore, MD 21224 has a requirement for conference space for our Intramural Research Program Scientific Retreat to be held March 28-30, 2001 to be held in the Baltimore/Bethesda area. The following requirements must be met: available March 28, 29 & 30, 2001; an auditorium-tiered that can hold at least 300 people; an area to hold registration and provide refreshments; access to adequate lavatories, water fountains and telephones; two additional rooms to hold poster sessions at least 2500 sq ft each; lodging facilities on location for overnight guests; must be able to provide break refreshments and lunch for at least 300 people each day at the same location as the conference; free parking for approxiamately 300 guests each day; audio visual equipment, microphones, telephone etc. witin the auditorium; location must be within 45 miles from Baltimore and Bethesda, MD (preferably between Baltimore & Bethesda). This is a combined synposis/solicitation prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solication will not be issued. This solicitation is issued Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. OSD-OD-36. The NAICS Code is 721110.
