Description
17. The MEDCOM Contracting Center-North Atlantic is seeking interested sources which are capable and willing to furnish the Government the following system/capability for a one-year evaluation period at absolutely NO COST to the Government. The Telemedicine Directorate at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center is interested in furnishing its health care providers with remote access to its on-site CHCS System through a secure Internet connection. This service must be extended to a minimum of 2000 healthcare providers (individual subscriptions). The furnished system shall permit the Government to 1) review lab results and orders, and 2) access medical information such as (Medline, Medical Journals, Medical Terminology, various databases and texts, etc.) through a "Library" function. The Contractor will insure a secure connection between CHCS and the WRAMC Web Server. For security purposes, the offered system shall guarantee that every log-in session uses 128-bit encryption browser from every user. Additionally, any interested source must comply with the following security guidelines intended to protect "For Official Use Only" information which would be available over the Internet: -- AR 380-19 Army Information Systems Security, -- AR 25-1 Army Information Systems, -- DoD web Site Administration Policies & Procedures, -- DoD-CERT IAVA 2000-A-0001.0.0 Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability, -- DoD-CERT IAVA 2000-B-0002.0 Netscape Navigator SSL Sessions, -- WRAMC Reg 380-2 WRAMC Information System Security, -- DISA NCS World Wide Web Handbook, ver 4,2, -- CIO Council Federal Best Security Practyices (BSP), -- DoD Directive 5230.0, -- DoD X.509 Certificate Policy and DoD Directive 5200.40. Contractor shall utilize the WRAMC provided communications link to provide access between its server(s) and WRAMC's CHCS computer system. Contractor shall provide adequate training to WRAMC staff in the use of the offered system. All services furnished under any resulting contract / agreement will be at NO-COST to the Government during the entire one-year evaluation period.
