Description

The Government intends to contract with Raytheon Systems Co. in Marlboro, MA to modify the Local Operator Device (LOD), Low Data Rate Interface Device (LID) and Remote Operator Units (ROU) on fielded Secure Mobile Anti-Jam Reliable Tactical Terminals (SMART-T) to sunlight readable versions. In addition, Raytheon will upgrade the SMART-T logistics technical data to reflect this change. Award will be placed as a firm-fixed price modification to Contract No. DAAB07-96-C-A757. This action will be processed on a sole source basis IAW FAR 6.302-1(b)(2) and 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). See numbered Note 22.
