Description
SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES SOUGHT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY -- Solicitations are not available at this time. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The U. S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) is conducting A-76 studies for the Directorate of Information Management (DOIM). A cost comparison conducted in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 will be performed to determine the most efficient method of operation. The DOIMS for the following and separate installations are under study: Forts: Benning (GA), Bliss (TX), Eustis (VA), Gordon (GA), Huachuca (AZ), Jackson (SC), Knox (KY), Leavenworth (KS), Lee (VA), Monroe (VA), Rucker (AL), Sill (OK), and Leonard Wood (MO), and Carlisle Barracks (PA) and the Presidio of Monterey (CA). All procurement actions will be performed by TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC), Fort Eustis, VA. Previously announced under Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) 8744, now matches to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 56121 (Size Standard $5.0 million). This requirement will cover a range of requirements to provide resources and management necessary for complete staff support and services to customers, while focusing on quality practices. The DOIM studies include the following major functional areas, which may be subject to change depending upon mission requirements: Telecommunications; Automated Networks/Systems; Customer Assistance; publications and Records Management; Information Technology/Information and Data Processing; Plans and Operations; Telephone Maintenance; Mail and Postal Operations; Other administrative and support tasks performed by the DOIM; Information Systems Security Program. TAC is conducting this second market survey to determine the existence of small business sources capable of performing the work as a "prime contractor" for these requirement. Information received will be used in the determination whether or not small business set-asides are applicable to the study at any of the above stated sites. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted as a result of this announcement or the associated Market Survey Questionnaire. Response to this announcement shall be submittal of the Market Survey Questionnaire located on the TAC Web page (http: www.tac.eustis.army.mil). Interested business should locate the identified website and questionnaire. All questions should be answered to the best of the vendor's capability and as thoroughly as possible. The vendor should stipulate in writing which sites they would be interested in submitting a proposal, if they would be interested as proposing as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor, what functional areas the offeror could perform and what security clearance the offeror possesses. The Questionnaire may be submitted electronically, via telefax (757) 878-4284 or by regular mail. All Questionnaires should be received not later than 14 DECEMBER 2000.
