STAGING AUDIO, VIDEO & LIGHTING SERVICE -- Services, Nonpersonal: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The procurement is to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, electricity, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide staging, audio, video and lighting service during the 375th Airlift Wing's Annual Holiday Concert scheduled for 9 Dec 2000 at 1900 (7:00 PM) in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Inspection and acceptance will be at Scott AFB IL. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The proposed solicitation listed here is set-aside 100 percent for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 711510 and the Business Size Standard is $5 million. Vendor must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies. Overall price and evidence of technical competence of equipment operators are the evaluation factors. Resumes on the equipment operators, to show proof of training on use of equipment, must be submitted along with price quote. The following additional FAR provisions and clauses do apply: FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer.
