Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) No. N00019-00-G-0116 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 62166-0516. The order will procure up to 222 kits for the LECP for T/AV-8B Brake Obsolescence Avoidance and Life Cycle Cost Reduction in support of the USMC, Italy and Spain. Additionally, this order may contain the procurement of all nonrecurring efforts, publications and the logistic support analysis in support of this engineering change proposal. This order will be issued on a sole source basis to MDC, the only source with the pre-requisite knowledge and experience in the design and development of the AV-8 Aircraft.
