Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) No. N00019-00-G-0116 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 62166-0516. The order will procure 26 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile Stations 3 and 5 Kits in support of the Italian and Spanish AV-8 Aircraft. Additionally, this order will procure all nonrecurring efforts, publications and the logistic support analysis in support of this engineering change proposal. This order will be issued on a sole source basis to MDC, the only source with the pre-requisite knowledge and experience in the design and development of the AV-8 Aircraft.
