(This is a combined synopsis /request for quotation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 12.6,as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes,the only request for quotation,/proposals are being requested and a written request for quotation/solication will not be issused.The request for quotation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through federal acquisition circular 97-12.This is an unrestisted procurement . The USCG intends to award a purchase order to the original equipement manufacture (OEM) which is MAROTTA SCIENTIFIC CONTROLS INC The following requirements are: Teardown,Test,Evaluate/Complete Overhaul/Repair 1. ( 15 ea ) Cylinder and Piston NSN 1620-01-356-6994 P/N 283761-0002 The Standard Industrial code is 3728,Drawings and Specifications Are not available and can not be furnished by the government.Items are to be delivered To USCG Aircraft Repair & Supply Center Receiving Section Bldg 63 Elizabeth City, N.C.27909 AR and SC Receiving Section will perform inspection and acceptance. Closing date and time of receipt of offers is 27-JUL-2000 close of business. Facsimile offers are acceptable and may be forwarded via fax (252) 335-6790. Far Provision 52.212 does not apply in that award will be made to offeror who submit the lowest price meeting the USCG _s Requirements Offerors are instructed to include a complete copy of Far 52.212-3 offeror representation and certification _commercial items with bids.
