Description

Rangeless Training System. The Naval Air Systems Command Tactical Training Ranges Program Office (PMA-248) is requesting industry information on Rangeless Training Systems. A Rangeless Training System is not dependent on any ground based systems except those needed for mission planning and debrief. The Navy is looking for readily available information on COTS/NDI systems that permit the conduct of safe and realistic combat training exercises in both a mobile and fixed range environment. The systems should be usable on both Navy (F-14, F-18) and Air Force (F-15, F-16) tactical aircraft. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. It is not a Request for Proposal nor is it an indication that the Navy will contract for these supplies in the future. The Navy will not pay for information received in response to the RFI. Interested parties should provide cost and product information no later than 08 December 2000. Interested parties are invited to present their information to the Government between 5 and 7 December, contact the point of contact below to schedule a time.
