- Description
- Concerns having the ability to provide non-secure services for federal juvenile offenders in the District of Colorado. These services are needed for the care and treatment of federally adjudicated juvenile offenders serving short term sentences of imprisonment or community confinement as a condition of probation. The requested services are required for juvenile offenders with a history of juvenile delinquency, services may also include substance abuse treatment programs, and comprehensive educational programs for those requiring placement in a structured/certified settings, as well as treatment for other adjustment issues. A firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a two-year base period and three-one year option is anticipated. Services for the base period are to begin January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control accountability and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical treatment for juvenile offenders. Estimated total number of inmate days for the base period are 7,300 and 3,650 inmate days for the first, second, and third option years. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prison's Statement of Work for Non-Secure Juvenile services. Location of the facility must be in the Durango/Ignacio or four corner regional area. Estimated issue date is on or about December 12, 2000 and the estmated closing date is February 10, 2001.
