Description

This project consists of driving or installing three government-furnished 16 inch diameter .5 inch wall thickness steel pipe piles for float anchors, installation of a 6 foot wide 65 foot long government-furnished steel access ramp, installation of 2 government-furnished pile collars, various timber beams, planks, and steel fabrications to retrofit the existing float and connect it to the piles. The work also includes furnishing and installing specified hardware including non-skid surfacing, ladder, life ring and line, and metal rings. The work is located at the existing Naukati camp harbor float adjacent to the Naukati Logging Camp on Prince of Wales Island, approximately 44 miles northwest of Thorne Bay, Alaska. Contract time will be 60 calendar days. The price range for this project is $25,000 -- $100,000. Written or facsimile requests for the solicitation should reference KTN-01-02.
