Description

The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC has a requirement for a Load, Assemble and Pack (LAP) of 21,000 105mm, Inert M1 (MOD) w/supplementary charge. Production involves disassembling Government furnished 105mm high explosive M1 or M1(MOD) Cartridges, removing the explosive fill from the projectiles, refilling the projectiles with inert fill, reassembling the cartridges with some new parts and Government furnished fuzes, re-marking and packaging the cartridges, and disposing of unused old parts. The contractor must provide new fuzewell liners and new primed brass cartridge cases. The contractor will be responsible for First Article and Lot Acceptance Testing. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available from which payment can be made. Three 0ption years are planned with maximum quantities of 15,000 per year. The solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis.
