Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) has a requirement for up to 14 each, 0-2500PSI, pressure transducers, Eaton part number 41SG800-3 or equal, and up to 14 each, 0-2800 pressure transducers, Eaton part number 41SG800-4 or equal. The units, to be installed on U.S. Navy minesweepers, shall have a magnetic permeability of 2.0 or less, and be shock tested in accordance with Mil-S-901D. The resulting contract will be Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), with a NTE base quantity of up to 6 units for each part number, a FY02 option for up to 4 units for each part number, and a FY03 option for up to 4 units for each part number. Delivery to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard will be required within 26 weeks after delivery order issuance. This acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about 05 Dec 00 and close on or about 19 Dec 00. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from the NECO website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to "victor_b_angkico@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer/bid which, if timely received, shall be considered by FISCPS.
